Publication Process
Journal of Obstetrics, Midwifery, and Reproductive Health (JOMRH) follows a structured publication workflow using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to ensure transparency, quality, and efficiency.
1. Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the OJS online submission system. Submissions must comply with the journal’s author guidelines and formatting requirements.
2. Initial Editorial Screening
The Editorial Team conducts a preliminary evaluation to assess:
- Scope suitability
- Manuscript formatting compliance
- Plagiarism screening
- Basic methodological quality
Manuscripts that do not meet requirements may be returned or rejected.
3. Peer Review
Eligible manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on reviewers’ comments.
4. Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
5. Copyediting
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting to improve clarity, grammar, formatting, and reference consistency.
6. Layout Editing
The manuscript is formatted into the journal template (PDF/HTML) according to JOMRH publication standards.
7. Proofreading
Authors review the final proof to correct minor typographical or formatting errors before publication.
8. Publication
The final article is published online and becomes immediately accessible under the journal’s Open Access policy.
